Beach on the West coast of New Zealand’s South Island near Haast

This beauty is what awaits when you cross over from the Haast Pass or SH6 highway towards the Haast township on the West Coast of New Zealand’s South Island. After a couple of hours of driving on winding roads through Mount Aspiring National Park you reach the coast and there is one straight line of highway leading north along the West Coast, and one wild beach after the next, complete with plenty of pebbles and driftwood. And a lot of wild, untouched rainforest.

I like the hazy mist that hangs over the shore. Nice photo!
